We had a great Saturday! It was Homecoming all week for BYU, and they have a Cougar Run on Saturday morning! So we signed JT up to run the 200m! He was so excited. We have been practicing all week. We would go to the indoor track and let him run with us. He does so good! And seems to enjoy it. So we asked him if he wanted to race other kids and he said Yes with a big smile! We got up early Saturday and went to the track to get ready. He got a t-shirt, and a #. He was so excited to have a number. He wore his super fast shoes, jogging pants, gloves, and cool headband! We warmed up with a little jog and he was set ready to go! He did so good! He ran the whole thing by himself with dad coaching him along the way! He took 6th place out of 17 boys! He was so proud, and even prouder of the ribbon he got!
Then we went and got blue pancakes, and watched the parade! Then we came home for a quick rest and then off to the the football game. Jac and her friend Nate came with us. JT and Lucy made it through he whole game. They were awesome! We had so much fun! And even funner because BYU won! It was a great day!
